Get ready for the 2nd annual Trek for Cancer snowshoe fun run which will take place at Kivi Park this coming January 13th. You can register online today.

If you can walk, you can snowshoe! And what better time to bring the family out for a day on the trails than Sunday, January 13th for the Northern Cancer Foundation’s Trek for Cancer Snowshoe Fun Run at beautiful Kivi Park.

The Trek for Cancer is the first of five MOVE – The Kivi Park Fitness Series taking place in 2019. The goal of the series is to get Sudburians out and active at Kivi Park while raising funds in support of the Northeast Cancer Centre.

There will be three distances available so the whole family can take part: 1km that is free for Kids under 12, 3km that is $5 for Kids under 12 and $35 for General Registration, 5km at the $35 General Registration fee and a 7km at the $35 General Registration Fee. Registration starts at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 13, 2019 and the Trek for Cancer itself starts at 11:00 a.m..

Our good friends and event sponsor Adventure 365 will be on hand to rent snowshoes for a $5 fee for people who don’t have snowshoes but want to give the Trek for Cancer a shot.
