Students from Collège Notre-Dame Raised $17,000

Collège Notre-Dame NCFLast night, over 200 students from Collège Notre-Dame went door-to-door collecting funds for the Northern Cancer Foundation for their annual cancer drive. The students canvassed Greater Sudbury well into the evening and raised $17,000!

“It’s such a pleasure to get to work with the staff and students at Collège Notre-Dame year after year,” says Tannys Laughren, Executive Director of the Northern Cancer Foundation, “Their excitement about fundraising locally and being proud of their own community is infectious. I don’t think it’s possible to leave that group without a smile on your face.”

This year was the school’s 28th cancer drive and their new grand total of funds raised over that span is $763,000. 100% of the funds raised by the Collège Notre-Dame Cancer Drive support local, cutting edge cancer research at HSNRI.

We would like to thank the Greater Sudbury community for showing their continued support for the Collège Notre-Dame students as well as the Northern Cancer Foundation.
