The Northern Cancer Foundation (NCF) and Kivi Park are very excited to announce the launch of MOVE – The Kivi Park Fitness Series. MOVE is a series of six events created to get Sudburians active and raise some much needed funds and awareness for the Northeast Cancer Centre.

“We’re really excited about the new fitness series! The focus on healthy living and activity ties directly with lowering cancer risk factors,” says Tannys Laughren, Executive Director of the Northern Cancer Foundation. “I think we’ve got a good spread of events that will be of interest to many in our community whether they’re taking part competitively, casually or even for the first time.”

“We are thrilled to host the MOVE Kivi Park Fitness Series in partnership with the Northern Cancer Foundation,” Melissa Sheridan, Kivi Park Leader. “This is such a great way to experience every aspect of Kivi Park with six different sports in each different event all while raising money for an amazing organization. From snowshoeing to paddle boarding there is something for everyone to do and we can’t wait to be a part of it.”

The first event – The ‘Cross Out Cancer’ Ski Loppet takes place on Sunday, February 4th and costs $35 to register. An all-event pass can also be purchased for $180 which grants registration for all six MOVE events.
