Kivi Park Winter Karnival is Finally Here
McEwen School of Architecture Kivi Park Winter Karnival

These students from the McEwen School of Architecture were working late into the night on their alien in a mine cart ice sculpture. Don’t forget that you will be able to vote for your favourite ice sculpture and the winning team of students will win a prize.

The 1st Annual Kivi Park Winter Karnival opens at 6 p.m. and will continue tomorrow morning at 11 a.m. You can see the schedule of events for Friday and Saturday here as well as information about the shuttle service offered on Saturday to help you get to Kivi Park. And dress warm, once the sun goes down it will get colder.

Here’s What To Bring beside yourselves

Flashlights if you plan on taking part in the Flashlight Family Snowshoe, snowshoes will be available.

Skates so you can skate with Sudbury Wolves’ Howler on outdoor rinks

Crazy Carpets so you can slide down the skating hill

Thinking Cap so you can find your way through the Kivi Park Snow Maze.

Camera to take photos of all the awesome ice sculptures that students from the McEwen School of Architecture created.

Other than that Kivi Park has everything else. There will be food and drinks for sale and an unbelievable Fireworks show will start at 8 p.m..

Following the fireworks an adult Jug Curling Tournament will begin.
