Brian Vendramin is calling for nominations for the “Business with Brian  Awards” which will recognize businesses with outstanding customer service.

If you know of a Northern business or not-for-profit enterprise that deserves to be acknowledged for their outstanding customer service then let Brian Vendramin at CBC North know about them!

CBC Morning North Business Columnist and Cambrian College School of Business Professor, Brian Vendramin wants to recognize all good things about small, medium and large-sized businesses in Northern Ontario, and not-for-profits too. But you better hurry as nominations close in two weeks.

Here are the three nomination categories.

The Knock Your Socks Off Business Award is in recognition of a business that delivers exceptional customer service, day in and day out. The business does this by creating the ultimate service experience for its customers.

The Ahead of The Curve Innovation Award is in recognition of a business that is slightly ahead of its time in the products and services it offers, or the business model it operates under. Could it be a new Smartphone App?

The Best Business Turnaround Story Award is in recognition of a business that has turned itself around and has risen from the tough times into something that is resonating with customers.

You can e-mail your nomination to morningnorth@cbc.ca or call the CBC Talkback Line with your entry at 1-800-461-1138.

Winners will be announced on February 6 on Morning North at 7:20 a.m. with Brian Vendramin and Markus Schwabe, Host, Morning North. CBC Radio One 99.9 FM.

First mass in Sudbury March 30, 1883 Jesuit Joseph Specht celebrated - at corner of Elm and Durham.
