Dario Zulich and the Sudbury Wolves have teamed up with Kimberley Wahamaa, founder of Trust Your Bust to raise money for breast cancer research at Friday’s game.

Kimberley Wahamaa, was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 47. She is the founder of, a website for breast cancer survivors who share their journey of hope. She created a “Trust Your Bust” Fund (TYBF) through the Northern Cancer Foundation, Charitable ID # 13494 9783 R0001 for breast cancer research through Health Sciences North Research Institute.

Kimberley has presented her story to various local groups, and she is registered with Big Idea Speakers. Her detailed PowerPoint presentation of her Journey of Hope, is now part of the curriculum at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine for 1st and 2nd year learners from a patient perspective.

Now at 51, she can check this one off her bucket list as she has always wanted to skate during a Wolves Game. To promote her cause, she will be sporting her Wolves’ jersey with “Trust Your Bust” lettered on the back. “I just want everyone to really TRUST YOUR BUST. Game night, Kimberley will be selling her photography, a collection of various Northern Ontario landscapes. Most of the photographs were taken while she was undergoing four chemotherapy sessions and 30 radiation treatments.

Kimberley has the support of many local businesses at the Wolves game.

One in nine women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, and one percent of men will also be diagnosed. The tag line of “Think Pink.Think Blue.” represents both women and men who are affected.

Trust Your Bust Fund Donations can be accepted online or in person at the Northern Cancer Foundation. A tax receipt will be given to donations of $20 or more.
