Celebrate the Holiday Season with the Sudbury Wolves

Skate with the Sudbury Wolves posterThe Sudbury Wolves have an exciting schedule of games, events and gift ideas for this year’s holiday season. Come out and show your team spirit!

Friday December 2nd, the Wolves are hosting the North Bay Battalion in the first meeting this season.  This Divisional rivalry and decades long historical competition between the two towns is sure to be great fun for the family.  Puck Drop is 7 p.m. Friday Dec 2nd.

Saturday December 3rd is another Sudbury Saturday Night on Elgin St at the Barn, when the Wolves host the Barrie Colts, another division rival.  It’s a big weekend and the Wolves are looking for crucial points before the Christmas break.

Sunday, Dec 4th it’s time for the annual “Skate with the Wolves” from 12 noon to 1 p.m..  Season ticket holders and all fans are invited to come up.  Non- season ticket holders are requested to bring a non-parishable food item as a donation to the Food Bank. The entire Sudbury Wolves team will be on-hand to sign autographs and take pictures.

Please note all kids 12 and under must wear a CSA approved helmet on the ice. Also, hockey sticks will not be permitted on the ice during the skate due to safety concerns.

 Tuesday December 6th, the Team hosts the Chamber of Commerce GSBX (Greater Sudbury Business XChange) at the Arena in the Corporate Lounge for the first time ever. Come join friends and business colleagues for a tour of the rink, arena snacks, a skate with some Wolves and a tour of the facilities from 5-7 p.m.. Guests are encouraged to bring their families. Registration is required with the Chamber’s guest table.  Entry will be guided from both the front and Minto Street entrances.

Sudbury Wolves Montreal Canadiens AlumniThursday December 8th at 7 p.m. get ready for some TBT action as the Wolves Alumni skate with the Montreal Canadiens Alumni in a charity classic.  Wolves Alumni returning for action in the Sudbury Arena include players from the 80s and 90s.  the night will feature 80s and 90s music, in-game interaction with players and fun for the whole family.  Come cheer on the Habs if you’re a fan of the Habs, come jeer them if you are a Leafs fan, but come support your Sudbury Wolves Alumni!

Friday Dec 9th, The Wolves host Flint and will be celebrating the alumni with a nod to their 45th anniversary.  Come reconnect with some of your old favourite players and see where their hockey career took them and where they find themselves these days.  Lots of locals as well as alumni from afar to reconnect with.

Saturday Dec 10th, the Wolves are back in action for their last game before Christmas against the Windsor Spitfires and host of the 2017 Memorial Cup.
