Since the founding of The Sudbury Theatre Centre 1971, founding member Helen Ghent has been a powerful presence and spirit in keeping live theatre not only alive in Sudbury but thriving. Helen has not only been an active supporter as a champion of the arts in our community, she has also been a generous and welcoming host by opening her family home to out-of-town guests and artists.

In recognition of Helen’s tireless efforts and devotion to the STC there will be an evening to honour her dedication on June 8th at 7 pm when the incomparable Mrs. Ghent will be receiving the 2nd annual STC Hounours recipient.
This special evening to honour Helen will is open to the public and will be held at the STC on Shaughnessy Street and the evening will include live entertainment. light fare a silent auction to raise funds for the STC and as special signature cocktail  and toast to honour Helen’s 45 years of uninterrupted volunteer service with the STC. The evening starts at 7 p.m. and tickets to this fun event are $50 per person.
